Partypoker Table Layout
The most important thing in poker is the cards. If you are struggling to read your own cards you are struggling. The partypoker tables are ideal.

As you can see from the image above, the cards are fairly large, you have an unobtrusive contrasting background. If you wish, you can use a different color for each suit, this helps avoid oversights but if you are more of a brick & mortar player I recommend sticking with the standard black and red suited cards as very few live casinos use the 4 color deck system. I always use the colored deck for games such as Omaha or Badugi at pokerstars.com, it helps a lot and means I never get confused.
Games at Partypoker
Texas Holdem
Omaha

Stud Hi-Lo
You can play these games at Limit, Pot and No-Limit. You also have access to side games. Side games such as blackjack might be fun to play while you are sitting tight in a tournament but remember, you are playing against the house and as everyone knows, the house always wins.

Soft Competition, Blah, Blah, Blah.
I was looking at other Partypoker reviews online to make sure I didn't miss out any important information. I was in the most part disappointed. Most poker reviews have been written purely to bring in new players. Useful information was a little scarce. I'm guessing most of the reviews have been written by people who have never played on the site, those reviews are a waste of your time, if you want sweet and fluffy reviews, go directly to Partypoker and have a read around their site.
OK, most of the reviews will tell you that the competition is soft. Not true! Partypoker is one of the biggest sites in the world, some of the best players in the world play there. Like all large sites, Partypoker have their fair share of sharks and fish. If you are in training to be a shark, the first thing you need to do is sniff out the fish, this is when your experience comes in. Be selective with your choice of table then you can find soft competition at any populated poker site.
Tournaments at Partypoker
Tournaments are top notch, you can play heads-up games, SNG's and Multi table tournaments. Speed games run more like the turbo's you get at pokerstars, these games simulate the later stages of a standard tournament and good practice if your end game is lacking.
Multitabling
Partypoker is great for multitabling. I've not tested more than 2 or 3 tables at a time there, because as I said earlier, my PC wasn't build for Partypoker's latest upgrades. I know many players who multitable comfortably at Partypoker. You can play on up to 18 tables at a time, you can chose to overlap the tables but any more that 4 would probably give you a headache, alternatively you can reduce the size of the tables. Only multitable when you are consistently winning in your single games, or instead of multiplying your profit margin you will be multiplying your losses.
Overview of Partypoker
As you can probably see from my review, I'm not a big fan of Partypoker anymore. I feel that the withdrawal of The US resulted in a decline of standards. Only pokerstars in my eyes has shone in the current uncertain poker climate. I do play there myself at times and it is one of the biggest sites around but it just does not fit my requirements. I do recommend playing there or at least testing it out but I have my reservations. The best thing to do is test it out yourself on the play money tables, your bonus code will still be valid when you if you decide to deposit. Try before you buy, it's always the safest option.
